Daddy now feels [this] big

Doug and Lil were on their way to meet me, my dad, and marla last week at the hospital (visiting my grandma, she's home now feeling better - tired, that sort of thing) Anyway, Doug got pulled over. He had kind of a hassle with the lady cop.

1st she says - um sir, these plates are not registered to this car
he says - um yes they are
she says - no, they say hyundai and this is a jag
he says - yeah because I drive a jag, huff
so she looks at the car - believes him that he knows what kind of car we have - then goes back to her car to figure out a way to hassle him some more.
Comes back and says something about the plates that were on the jag before ya know, are now not registered to us at all - they are 5th 3rd banks plates - well that just happens to be our lease company that we just purchased the car from...yadda yadda

They ended up getting it all straightened out but of course he got a ticket. All the while, Lilly was in the back seat being quite, which is pretty much a miracle in this type of situation until... she looks up at Doug and says "Daddy, are we bad people?"
