The other night Lil and I were eating dinner. Tv was on in the back ground, one of her shows. Someone on TV said something about a Hobo. Lilly said...What's a hobo? Like a scientist or something? hehehe
Here are some pictures from our fishing trip. It was the ONE really really warm day in January. Me, Lil, Charlie, My mom, and her bf Walt. It was also really really really windy!
Not that Lil hasn't been saying some hillarious things lately...I've just been slacking off for a while. Anyway...here are the new ones
Lilly tells me this pretty much made up word, I decided, for what she told Santa she wanted for christmas (we had breakfast with Santa at her school a few weeks ago) so I couldn't figure out what the heck she was talking about. She said it was a pony that walks and talks and has an apple that it eats. So we're in Target, I slyly ask if she would show me the pony so I could see what it looks like...ya know out of curiosity. We walk around the toys forever - never seeing the pony. So we're leaving and she says 'don't worry mommy, its ok that you didn't see the pony, Santa knows what it looks like' nice haha
Then, she has been less than a little angle the past few days. So on the way to school we were talking about how she could act like a good little girl and some things that she could do. And I pulled out the big guns by saying 'ya know lilly, if you're not a good girl...santa will know...and you will not get any presents...mommy has no controll over it' She says, 'yeah I know...I'll get no presents and Santa will bring me a cold' I thought she said Coal and I had her repeat it...nope it was a COLD. So you all better be good because Santa's bringing strep throat! hahahaha
Last night on the way home from picking up lilly, She says...I love the Cheetah Girls. I want to meet them IN PERSON. Anyone that knows her can appreciate her drama in telling me the following. Mommy, please...can we see the Cheetah Girls IN PERSON...I would love that...they are my favorite people EVER! If I could see them...I would ask them for their artograph. THAT WOULD BE SOOOO COOL!!! So now of course...I'll have to see if these Cheetah people actually tour. Because as lilly says 'they really are real people, not just on tv' haha
So in the car over the weekend, lilly and I were talking about my trip this weekend and what it means to her. She wanted to know what days were mommy days and what days were daddy days. We got it all straightened out. Then out of no where - she says - mommy, did you know that monkeys scratch their arm pits. And proceeded to demonstrate.
A lady at work has 2 hamsters...separate cages...one night the sneaky boy hamster got out of his cage...made his way 2 rooms over to the innocent little girl hamster's cage. So...needless to say...she now has 10 hamsters. And of course she's trying to get people to take them. I've always kinda wanted one...they're so cute and cuddly. I'm trying to decide if lilly is still a bit too young to get one. I of course do not expect her to clean its cage or remember to feed it. But still. I do expect her to play with it and not let it get lost in her brats/barbie infested room. So, I'm asking for everyone's input on the question...hamster or no hamster?
