Bill and Chris'

Yesterday, we're on our way home from my cousin's graduation party. Lilly asks if we can go over to Bill and Chris' tonight. I said, yeah, I think we are going over there. She says..."Bill and Chris didn't know me when I was a baby...no they didn't...and...they didn't know me when I was a baby and didn't have any teeth...because I was a baby" She went on about being a baby and who didn't know her for at least 10 minutes. Very odd

Don't worry, I'll have a pic of her in her dance class outfit in a day or so...cutest thing ever!

Mom...You're old

My mom and I were making Lilly some curtains for her bedroom the other night. We were downstairs and she found one of those foot soak things that you put your feet in and it bubbles, etc. So of course she asked what it was. I said you put your feet in it. Somehow old people got brought up.
I said, "yes, I suppose old people put their feet in there."
She says, "Well Mommy, you're old, you can put your feet in there."

Thanks Lil, that's what I needed.

I signed lilly up for dance class last night. Soooo cute!! I can't wait. Her first class is thursday. We've been working on the days of the week because any time I tell her we're doing something she assumes it either means right now or tomorrow...

So, after telling her dance class starts on Thursday - we went through the days of the week...over and over and over again.

We got to the point where I asked her what today was - she said Tuesday. I asked her what day comes next...she says "you're really making me think"

I just about died. Then if she didn't know, instead of saying "I don't know" she would say quite dramatically "I HAVE NO IDEA" - she is truely my clone

Last Night

We went to Amy's house for a Tastefully Simple party. If you recall one of my previous posts, the last one we went to is when Lilly stood up and proclaimed her love for ranch dressing and fish sticks. So needless to say...I threatened her with her life on the way there. No running around like a maniac - jumping - yelling - etc. No talking while the lady is talking...yadda yadda.

She was really good the entire time, not so much as a peep and she kept herself entertained. When everyone was getting ready to leave, we were all standing around talking, she looks up at me and says "mommy, can I talk now?"

Good God - Now I'm Hooked~

I'm getting out of the shower yesterday, Lilly is supposed to be getting herself dressed. I hear a yell from the other room.

I say: Lil, what's the matter

Lil: mmmblahblahmmm, on my finger!

Lil: I STEPPED ON MY FINGER
